Making a blog post two months in a row is a bit of an accomplishment for me!
I had previously mentioned a trip to Flagstaff with my sister for a wedding. The trip was actually really nice, even though it was really busy with wedding stuff. We ate a lot of good food, stayed in a super cute Air BnB, and saw a lot of nature.
The venue was really cute, Viola's flower garden. We made sure to bring back some plants on the way home! I made a dress to wear to the wedding completely from scratch, which I finished the morning we left for the trip!

Monsoon season has really been picking up. We have had so many storms lately which is sooo nice. It's been a long time since we had this much rain!
I've been trying to stay on the Instagram Reels train, but it's been hard finding the time. I never know what is actually going to get views. Sometimes I put in a lot of effort, and I don't even get 100 views. And sometimes I toss something together and I get 80k views 🤷♀️ I really did have a low effort reel get 80k views and 2.5k likes which is unheard of for me! I am almost to 350 followers, which I know doesn't mean "that" much, but it's nice to see some growth with the effort I've been trying to put in.
My birthday was last month. I kept it pretty low-key and it was nice :)
It still feels very much like summer here, but I am going to start making some fall designs! I have some fun things planned like mushrooms, foxes, owls, and leaves! Stay tuned!
